2. What this is about
This notice applies to the product page of the Apex Cosmos app. The app itself has its own privacy policy: apexstudios-de.github.io/cosmos/privacy.html
This website uses no cookies, no analytics or audience measurement and no forms. It stores nothing in your browser and loads no fonts, scripts, images or videos from third-party servers. A small script delivered with the page moves the day bar as you scroll and starts or pauses the videos while they are in view. It sends no data and stores nothing.
3. Hosting via Cloudflare Pages
The website is provided through Cloudflare Pages, a service of Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA.
So that your browser can display the page, Cloudflare processes your device's IP address when you open it, together with technical details such as the time, the file requested, the browser identifier and, where applicable, the address of the page you came from. Cloudflare uses these details to deliver the page and to protect the service against attacks and abuse.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is to provide public information about the Apex Cosmos app reliably, quickly and without running our own server.
Providing your IP address is not required by law or contract; without it, however, the page cannot technically be delivered to your device.
4. Transfers to third countries
Cloudflare operates a worldwide network of data centres. Your request is normally answered by a data centre near you, but the data may also be processed in the USA or other countries outside the EU. According to Cloudflare, it is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework; for companies certified under that framework, the European Commission's adequacy decision of 10 July 2023 applies (Art. 45 GDPR). In addition, Cloudflare has incorporated the European Commission's standard contractual clauses (Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR) into the Data Processing Addendum linked above, where you can view them.
5. Retention
We do not store any access data ourselves. According to Cloudflare, logs of individual page requests are not retained for our account by default: developers.cloudflare.com/logs/logpull/enabling-log-retention/ (accessed 22 September 2026). Where Cloudflare processes data beyond that to defend against attacks and abuse, Cloudflare states that it keeps them only as long as necessary for that purpose; the retention section of Cloudflare's privacy policy applies.
6. Links to other websites
The page links to image sources and licences (creativecommons.org, eso.org, esawebb.org, esahubble.org) and to our legal notice and the app's privacy policy (apexstudios-de.github.io). These sites are only contacted when you click a link; no data are sent to them before that. When you click, your browser does not tell the destination that you came from our page. The linked sites are governed by their operators' privacy notices.
7. If you write to us
If you write to the address given above, we process your e-mail address and the content of your message in order to answer it. The inbox is operated by Google (Gmail), so your message is held on the servers of a US provider. We delete the message once the enquiry has been dealt with and no retention obligation stands in the way. Legal basis: for enquiries about your data subject rights Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR in conjunction with Art. 12 GDPR, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
8. Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability (Art. 15 to 20 GDPR). The access data of this website are held by Cloudflare, not by us; you are nevertheless welcome to contact the e-mail address above.

9. Right to object
Where we process data on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, you may object at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21 GDPR). An informal message to the e-mail address above is enough.
